DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Create/fabricate projects for test equipment/processes.
• Review engineering specifications, drawings, and engineering artifacts to propose design modification.
• Use background knowledge to research for materials and equipment costs.
• Create technical drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of materials.
• Assess and provide technical directions based on findings.
• Provide technical guidance as needed.
• Stay current on product technical and regulatory changes.
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years of relevant/technical work experience OR
• An additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling applications
• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
• Master's degree
• 7+ years of engineering experience
• CAD experience (Solidworks, Inventor, or AutoCAD).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate and solve complex technical problems.
• Ability to work in a flexible team environment.
• Ability to work independently.
OTHER (INCLUDE LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, SECURITY CLEARANCE, TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS, ETC.):
• The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
