The Purchasing Supervisor will work across functional and geographic boundaries to ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction relative to procurement service levels. This role will also perform duties to research, prepare, place, and track purchase orders for any range of equipment, parts, supplies, and materials in support of operations, engineering, and sales functions at all locations.
Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:
- Lead, manage, direct and coordinate the activities of the department and the personnel engaged in purchasing materials, equipment, machinery, supplies, and services for the Corporation.
- Manage product creation and accuracy of information, including descriptions, image assignment, categorization, country of origin, and other necessary criteria in Business Central
- Work across an international, matrixed organization, sharing and learning best practices with teams globally, and balancing international and local needs and impacts.
- Continuously monitoring and reviewing the Procurement teams past orders to verify the correct information is being logged while identifying and implementing improvements if needed.
- Work closely with Accounting Team communicating all sales, ensuring prompt payment and proper de-asseting process's meet or exceed their expectation.
- Identify and develop key talent and appropriately manage underperformers to ensure success of all individuals in the department.
- Oversee the RFID Team's progress to confirm the inventory meets rigorous standards and maintains seamless trackability.
- Teach the Inventory Recording Coordinators how to read Power-BI reports to retrieve data of inventory to effectively reduce amount of gear that has not been tagged.
- Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials.
- Liaise with Accounts Payable Department to ensure the timely receiving of purchase orders ensuring swift payment to customers/vendors.
- Educate the Asset Disposal teams across all divisions on how to track and locate accurate inventory and dispose of assets that are no longer in use.
- Develop and lead strategic corporate purchasing for all divisions by leveraging purchasing power, contracting, and partnerships in acquiring assets for company use.
- Create SOP's and hold Bi-Weekly meetings to get feedback from employees to maximize growth and success.
Base Salary Range: $49,708.06/yr - $73,663.74/yr. This represents the low and high end of the company's base salary range for this position. Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.
