AECOM is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to be based in Dallas or Houston, Texas. This role has in office requirements, with a hybrid work schedule. Key Responsibilities Define and maintain reference architectures for operational AI solutions across Azure, AWS, UiPath, and Moveworks.Ensure interoperability, observability, reliability, and security are incorporated into all solution designs.Review platform‑specific designs to enforce modular, composable architectural standards.Develop reusable connectors, prompts, orchestration patterns, and technical guardrails.Mentor Solution Architects and Solution Engineers to drive technical maturity and standardization. Qualifications A minimum of 10 years of experience in solution architecture, automation, or enterprise software engineering.Hands‑on architecture experience across cloud platforms and automation ecosystems.Expert understanding of APIs, identity management, security controls, and CI/CD pipelines.Experience ensuring production readiness including logging, monitoring, resilience, and DR strategies.Strong executive communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions. Preferred Qualifications Experience in enterprise‑scale architectural governance.Knowledge of prompt engineering, vector search, autonomous agent orchestration patterns. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000.
