The Associate Dean for Health and Well-Being provides strategic leadership for the Student Health & Well-Being cluster of Student Life, which includes the Health & Counseling Center (HCC), Athletics, Fitness, & Outdoor Programs (AFOP), and the Sexual Health Advocacy & Relationship Education (SHARE) program. The Associate Dean for Health and Well-Being leads multidisciplinary efforts to sustain an equitable and inclusive culture of student well‑being.This position reports to the Vice President for Student Life, is under the division of Student Life, and works on campus interfacing with faculty, staff, and students. The position serves in an on‑call rotation with other student life deans, providing support for frontline professional staff in responding to elevated student concerns. This is a full‑time role with typical work hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one hour unpaid lunch, however some evenings and weekends are required.Starting salary for this position is $120,712- $125,712. Pay offers are contingent upon experience and are determined through an internal pay assessment. This is an exempt position in grade 10.What You’ll DoProvide leadership and functional responsibility for strategic planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of campus‑wide wellness education programsPartner with the Care Team to deliver harm‑reduction programming and intervention strategiesSupport students who experience crisis; intervene directly in cases involving critical illness/injury, mental illness, and other threats to mind and bodyPartner with faculty and staff around health assessment and wellness educationDevelop co‑curricular wellness programming for students' utilizationAnticipate, evaluate, and address changes in student needs and improve the student experience on campusAssess and make medical and counseling recommendations to internal/external providers and cliniciansCollaborate with the Director of Medical Services and Director of Counseling Services to support, develop, and promote initiatives, programming, and outreach directed toward students’ physical, mental, emotional, and psychological well‑beingDevelop collaborative partnerships across campus – both in and outside the classroom – to ensure strategic integration of holistic wellness programs, initiatives, and servicesServe on several campus committees, including the Behavioral Intervention Team, the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Committee, and the Student Health Advisory CommitteeServe as a member of the designated Emergency Response Team; assist with coordination, communication, and implementation of emergency response plans and actions #J-18808-Ljbffr
