Choice of Locations Concerned Dental of Farmingville: 1025 Portion Road, Suite F, Farmingville, NY 11738 Concerned Dental of Port Jefferson: 492 Old Town Road, 1st Floor, Port Jefferson, NY 11776 Now Dental of Suffolk: 496 Smithtown Bypass, Suite 300, Smithtown, NY 11787 Your Role & Responsibilities Preventive Care: Conduct dental cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive procedures to maintain and enhance patients' oral health Simple Restoratives: Perform basic restorative procedures, including fillings and minor cosmetic enhancements Patient Education: Instruct patients on effective oral hygiene techniques, preventive strategies, and overall dental health maintenance Clinical Services: Diagnose and manage dental conditions related to hygiene, including periodontal disease Treatment Planning: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on preventive care and minimal intervention Collaboration: Work in tandem with dental hygienists and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest advancements in dental hygiene and preventive care through ongoing education and training Qualifications & Skills Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school Licensure: Valid and unrestricted dental license to practice in New York Proficient in performing dental hygiene procedures and simple restorative treatments Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate and engage patients Detail-oriented with strong diagnostic and clinical abilities Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional growth Strong work ethic and dedication to maintaining high standards of practice Flexibility and willingness to adopt new technologies and methodologies Your Reward Flexible Schedule: Part-time position offering work-life balance Continuing Education: Opportunities and support for ongoing professional development State-of-the-Art Facility: Access to the latest dental technology and equipment like Overjet and iTero Supportive Work Environment: Collaborative team culture with opportunities for growth and advancement Ready to make a positive impact on patient care?
