2nd shift (2:00pm – 10:00pm)
$1 Shift Differential

What is an air curtain? An air curtain is a machine that blows a controlled stream of air across an opening to create an air seal. This air seal not only saves energy it also provides comfortable environments by keeping out bugs, dust, fumes, and extreme temperatures.
Duties and Responsibilities: Our Electrical Wiring Specialists have industrial electrical experience, are detail-oriented, and have a passion for quality. This position is responsible for completing the assembly and wiring of various air curtain units. Air Curtain Assembly
Wiring
Completing wire starting from a wiring harness
Cutting, stripping, and crimping as needed
Dealing with 110v – 600v electrical equipment, depending on the product
Read and understand ladder wire diagram
Mechanical
Material handling, drilling, inserting rivets and nutserts into metal and aluminum
Read mechanical drawings of the air curtains
Air Curtain Testing
Check voltage with a voltage meter
Operate air curtain to ensure unit is operating as ordered
Complete Quality Assurance check sheet
Energize motors
Troubleshoot, as needed
General Duties
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Work well with fellow assembly workers
Monitor inventory as needed
Ensure work orders are completed on time
Maintain quality control of air curtain units
Qualifications and Skills
MUST be able to read comprehensive electrical schematics/ladder wire diagrams
Idustrial electrical wiring experience highly preferred
Must be able to use a tape measure
Must be able to use power and air tools
Must be able to read and interpret visual and written production procedures
Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings
Physical Demands
Ability to shift and push/pull up to 50 pounds and lift to 3-4 feet throughout the day
Must be able to walk and stand upright in a stationary position for up to 4 hours at a time
Ability to work in seasonal unconditioned indoor air conditions
