SMSI is currently in search of an Electro-Mechanical Technician. This individual will have the crucial responsibility of installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting, and repairing automated machinery and computer-controlled mechanical systems. Collaborating closely with engineers and fellow technicians will ensure the seamless functioning of automated machinery and systems. Apply today to become an integral part of our team.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze blueprints, schematics, and diagrams in order to ascertain the appropriate method of assembling components, machinery, and additional apparatus.
  • Specialized instruments are utilized to measure components and verify their compliance with specifications.
  • Inspect parts for defects
  • Evaluate the efficiency of electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Install electronic components using soldering equipment and hand tools
Requirements
  • Electrical and mechanical equipment experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and high motivation
  • Multitasking and prioritizing in a high pressure environment without a lot of direction of management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
