Technical Writer and Editor
Key Role:

Provide te chn ical writing support, to include creating and preparing programmatic and engineering documentation for the client from initial draft through finalization for delivery. Write and edit te chn ical manuals, test procedures and plans, work instructions, and training packages, with primary focus on drafting new technical documentation. Interview subject matter experts, conduct research, and analyze technical information to distill into clear and concise language. Leverage knowledge of te chn ical writing best practices and DoD guidance to produce comprehensive and accurate documentation. Contribute to solutions to a variety of challenges of moderate scope and complexity.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in technical writing and producing te chn ical documentation
• Experience with using Micro sof t Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with using AI technology and tools to create written content
• Ability to create document templates
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
  

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with military standards and specifications governing the preparation of te chn ical documentation
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
