A cutting-edge 61-storey skyscraper in the heart of Back Bay, Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston is vibrant, modern and stylish. The Hotel's 215 spacious guest rooms and suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views across the city. Other amenities include The Wellness Floor, a five-star urban spa destination; chic restaurants including brunch hotspot One+One; and more than 10,000 square feet of dedicated meeting and event space.

The Opportunity:

Looking for an exciting opportunity to join a world-class team and work in one of Boston's most luxurious hotels? We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a keen attention to detail to join our Front Office team as a Front Desk Overnight Supervisor.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Checks in guests in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest names whenever possible. Assures that guests are assigned the type of room requested and the correct rate is charged. Arranges for luggage to be delivered to guest rooms. Issues correct keys to the guests. Performs all the functions of a Concierge.
  • Checks out guests at the end of their stay. Ascertains guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts late charges, and presents bills to guests. Settles bills accurately through credit card or cash transactions.
  • Maintains a balanced bank assigned by the hotel. Makes change, cashes checks, exchanges foreign currency. Reconciles all transactions at the close of each shift.
  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services.
  • Utilizes a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports, and select and block rooms for arriving guests.
  • Accepts reservations, changes, and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department Staff.
  • Ensures the lobby is in proper order by performing daily walkthroughs.
  • Assists with Overnight Manager coverage, performing all necessary night audit duties.
  • Actively participates in standard testing of GSA and Bell/Door Team.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hours required: Eight-hour shift; scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
  • Requires reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
