Our client is searching for a Commercial Sales Representative to join their team in Lincoln, RI


Position Overview

Responsible for expanding our client's commercial client base, promoting their range of services and contribute to the overall growth of the business.


Essential Job Functions

  • Consult with business professionals to provide mechanical solutions to meet their needs
  • Provide estimates on new installations of boilers, furnaces, and central air conditioning systems
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand their HVAC and plumbing needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements
  • Ability to size and measure new systems and replacement of old systems
  • Knowledge of heating, plumbing, electrical and cooling systems
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales quotas sales activity and metrics assigned
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective new clients, while maintaining the minimum expectations of quotes needed
  • Complete consistently scheduled phone blocks and cold call prospecting activities to establish initial and follow-up appointments with customer/prospect decision-makers within a designated territory
  • Complete required Customer KPI expectations, CRM-Service Titian entries, reports and other paperwork in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policy
  • Ensure you are on track to target revenues with regards to sales funnel accuracy and health
  • Proactively prospect for new business opportunities, up-sell to existing customers (new product sales) within a specific set of named accounts
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Skills and Experience

  • Prior sales experience required
  • Superior customer service skills and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them in a clear and concise manner to clients
  • Responsibilities may require working weekends

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer for extended periods of time, including long periods of sitting, keyboard entry, use of office equipment, use of computer monitor
  • Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate
  • Be able to communicate using a computer and phone/smart device
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust
  • May require physical effort and cardiac endurance while reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, balancing, bending, leaning, kneeling, walking, and climbing
  • Carrying supplies, up to 25 lbs.
