Essential Job Role

  • Assist the general manager in achieving store sales goals as defined by the company
  • Responsible for working with customers to resolve any opportunities as they may occur
  • Works and coaches the sales team to exceptional performance through assessment & coaching
  • Complete performance feedback and development plans for each new sale's hire
  • Works with sales team to qualify customer sales order information, delivery expectation and product to be delivered
  • Develop training structured programs for those on the sales team
  • Walks the sales floor to ensure sales procedures are followed
  • Review marketing/promotional programs with the sales team; ensure compliance
  • Acts as T/O Leader where assistance is needed
  • Work with the General Manager on the sales reports to identify trending and sales analysis

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications
  • College degree in Marketing/Business would be ideal
  • Familiar with Big Box retail, preferably with multi-unit configuration
  • Managed large diverse work groups to include commission sales team
  • Leader vs. Manager; want a leader that encourages performance
  • Demonstrate quantifiable sales improvements in the locations worked
  • Willing to work retail hours
  • Want to work in locations where people vacation
