Our client is plastics manufacturing company that primarily focuses on products in the medical device industry. They are located in the Waterbury area and are seeking experienced Quality Inspectors on 3rd shift with a background in plastics and molding. They offer an outstanding work environment with brand new machinery and it is also incredibly clean and organized on the floor. They also offer competitive pay, great benefits, and a very generous PTO Policy (18 Days).

Responsibilities:
  • Pre and in process inspection.
  • Working in the lab before part gets out to the machine.
  • Ensures that the documentation control process is implemented.
  • Maintains assigned registers and logs.
  • Identifies and segregate any non-conforming product.
  • Participates in final acceptance and release for shipments of product.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of activity in quality assurance, quality control, or mechanical inspection.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting inspections utilizing handheld inspection devices.
  • Experience with optical measurement systems or CMM systems a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a small company environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
Pay Rate:
$16-$20 Hourly

Shifts:
3rd Shift (11:00 P.M. - 7:00 A.M.)
