Shift: Days / 6:30a-5p, 10x4, 40 hours per week, with some evening, weekend and holiday call coverage required.

Position / Specialty – Cath Lab Tech/Rad TechShift: Position will be 4-10 hour day shifts with some evening, weekend and holiday call coverage required.Years of experience REQ: 2 YearsFirst-timers accepted: YesWeekend REQ: Y - variableIs on-call REQ? YFloating Req to Sister Facilities: NLocals accepted: NPending State License accepted: YRTO Restrictions: 7 daysGuaranteed Hours: 40Certs req: ACLS, BLS, ARRTSpecial Requirements: Cardiac catheterization, PCI, atherectomy, vascular diagnostic and interventional, PACS, EPICWork settings: diagnostic cardiac cath lab, interventional cardiac cath labCardiac cath lab procedures: Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Rotablader athrectomy, Temporary Pacemaker (preferred: ASD Closures, Pulmonary Artery (PA) line insertion, Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR)Electrophysiology studies: Preferred - Arrhythmia Induction, Baseline Measurements, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Cardioversion, Conduction Studies, Electrophysiology Evaluation, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Pacemaker InsertionAbdominal and pelvic: Preferred - Angioplasty, Embolization, Mesenteric Angiogram, Stent placementVascular studies/procedures: Required - Angioplasty, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography Preferred: Carotid Stenting, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Dialysis Graft Creation/Revision, Dialysis Graft interventions (fistulograms/declots)Venous access: required-central venous access (tunneled port)Equipment and devices: required-fluroscopy, preferred - siemensProcedural responsibilities: required - accurate monitoring, equipment set up, prep access site, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, scrub - maintain sterile field. Preferred: perform EKG lead placement, vascular closure systems (perclose, starclose)Professional knowledge and skills: required - isolation precautions. preferred - use of rapid response team
