Ambiorix is a new venture from the team behind Ectosense, a sleep-diagnostics company acquired in 2021 by ResMed (NYSE: RMD). After several years at ResMed, we’re applying that experience to build an organization dedicated to delivering well-engineered diagnostic devices at competitive prices.Our aim is to broaden access to high-quality diagnostics by improving efficiency and lowering cost without compromising performance. By the end of 2027, we target the capacity to test 100,000 patients per Ambiorix employee.If you’re interested in building practical, scalable healthcare technology with real impact in a small but high-ownership team, we’d love to meet you.ResponsibilitiesDevelop state-of-the-art diagnostic medical devices from prototypes to mass productionCreate schematic designs, perform PCB layout, and collaborate with manufacturing partners for fabrication and assemblyWork closely with mechanical engineers and manufacturing teams for rapid prototyping, design iterations, and troubleshooting production issuesSupport documentation and verification efforts for FDA, IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and EMC/ESD complianceMust HaveBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field3+ years of experiencewith circuit design, PCB layout (Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, or similar), and embedded hardware developmentPassion for hardware productsGood written and spoken EnglishHighly creative and autonomousNice to haveExperience writing firmware in CExperience with communication protocols such as BLEExperience with mass production processesExperience with low-power, battery-operated devicesExperience with regulations such as ISO 13485 andIEC 60601What's in it for you?Working with a great team of smart people, in a friendly and open cultureFlexible working hours and an attractive packageA fast-paced environment with room for experimentation #J-18808-Ljbffr
