Overview Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise, Europe-Central Enterprise at Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS Global Sales (AGS) drives revenue and adoption across large accounts including enterprise and public sector. AWS Global Support partners with customers building mission-critical applications on AWS. In this role you will work with AWS customers and industry domain experts to create architectures for Life Science industry challenges. You will design, build, refine and scale solutions, working with AWS Professional Services, AWS Partners, and customers. This requires hands-on experience in application integration, domain-driven design, microservices and component-based architectures, and knowledge of industry domains such as applied AI and deployment of industry solutions. Candidates should have insights into cloud-based software solutions, including handling of sensitive data, process observability, and audit readiness. You will participate in creating and sharing best practices, technical content and reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize AWS technology and industry trends through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences. The role may include up to 30% travel. Key responsibilities Engage with large global customers as an active contributor to a diverse team. Educate, train, design and build cloud solutions for Life Science enterprise customers. Architect or software development experience required; strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions. Contribute to deep architecture discussions and participate in deep-dive education and design exercises to create world-class AWS solutions. Develop and refine architectures with stakeholders, and collaborate across AWS Professional Services, Partners, and customers. Basic Qualifications 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics. Experience leading or developing high-quality, enterprise-scale software products using a structured SDLC. Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients. Knowledge of cloud architecture. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in technology domains listed above. Experience working with end-user or developer communities. Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
