We seek a dynamic Job Developer to foster community employment, promote client success, and advance our mission of community, equity, and resilience.Starting salary range $41,000 – $51,000 annually, based on experience and skill.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and nurture professional relationships with employers, placement agencies, and temporary agencies to secure consistent job leads for clients.Outreach continuously to job seekers ready for employment.Assist with job‑readiness training as needed.Provide individualized employment plans outlining client objectives.Assist clients in obtaining permanent, unsubsidized jobs in high‑demand industries.Recommend and develop employment service marketing programs.Present to businesses to promote employment services and create new opportunities.Facilitate job clubs featuring guest speakers and employers on skill‑building topics.Collaborate with Career Coaches to deliver retention support.Meet program timelines, reporting, and contractual requirements.Work effectively as part of the program team and support diverse staff and populations.Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain professional development.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesHighly organized with strong Excel proficiency for tracking data.Experience working one Saturday and at least one late night per month.Ability to secure employment verification with employers.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in human resources, business, social sciences, communications, or related field (preferred).Minimum three years of related training or experience (required).General knowledge of labor market trends (preferred).High school diploma with 7+ years of experience in employer outreach, sales, marketing, or related field (required).Mobility to work at community‑based caseload (preferred).Additional RequirementsPass all relevant screenings and criminal background checks.Transportation/Travel RequirementsPersonal vehicle required; travel between sites necessary.Physical DemandsRequires extended sitting, standing, frequent talking, hand use, occasional standing, bending, stretching, and strong visual acuity for data analysis.BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision coverage.Employer contribution to HSA: $2,000 individual, $4,000 family.Free Teladoc behavioral health services.401(k) plan with 4% match, vested 100% immediately.EEO StatementMetropolitan Family Services is an equal opportunity employer.
