About this Opportunity:
We have a unique opportunity at D.A. Blodgett - St. John's (DABSJ) to lead an established division of foster care, foster home licensing and adoption professionals. DABSJ is at the forefront of best practice and systems transformation efforts as one of the partner agencies in the West Michigan Partnership for Children (WMPC), Kent County's Performance-based Child Welfare pilot; the Director plays a key role in the project, establishing a culture of exceptional service in the context of Key Performance Indicators and data-driven outcomes. DABSJ is looking for a committed, skilled, energetic and visionary leader who embraces an environment marked by rapid change, increasing client need, incredible opportunities and emerging shifts in the child welfare workforce.

Our ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field such a social work, psychology, counseling, or health administration. Must have a minimum of five years of increasingly responsible leadership experience in services to children and families, ideally in some combination of residential, child welfare, or children's behavioral health. It is strongly preferred to have significant knowledge of public systems of care.
