Role Overview The Cyclyx Senior Financial Analyst will provide strategic financial insights and support decision-making across the organization. This role will be instrumental in analyzing financial data, forecasting trends, preparing budgets, and generating reports that guide executive leadership. Additionally, the role will support the accounting department with the month-end close process by creating journal entries, preparing reconciliations, and other monthly activities. Key Responsibilities Prepare and present financial performance reports for leadership reviews. Conduct variance analysis and identify trends to recommend improvements. Lead cost analysis initiatives and enforce financial policies and procedures. Evaluate financial performance against plans and forecasts. Support preparation of the consolidated financial forecasts and associated variance analysis. Support ad hoc modeling, forecasting, and the strategic planning process. Drive process improvements through automation and dashboard development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with business objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics (CFA/CPA preferred). Minimum 4 years of financial analysis or accounting experience. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools. Experience with ERP systems and financial databases. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data. Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities. Education / Training Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Position Mechanics Reports to: CFO Type: Exempt; Full-time Work Hours: Flexible, but must be available 8:00-5:00, Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend work. Location: The Woodlands, TX Work environment: Primarily an office environment, but may also work in an industrial environment at times where the use of PPE is required. Travel: Minimal - Less than 10% as needed to meet with members and attend off-site meetings Physical Demand: substantially that of an office environment. Occasional lifting and manual work.
