Job Description:Sr. Financial Analyst Huntsman's Polyurethanes Division is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst supporting our facility in The Woodlands, TX or in San Jose, Costa Rica. This position will report to the Senior Global Performance Manager.Job ScopeThis individual will be a key member of Polyurethanes Global Finance team working closely with all regions and functions at our Global HQ in The Woodlands, TX or in San Jose, Costa Rica. The role will provide in-depth financial planning and analysis of the global performance of the Polyurethanes divisionIn summary, as the Sr. Financial Analyst, you will: Support PU global forecasting and budgeting process for Income Statement and Cash FlowWork with regional finance teams and global reporting team to perform planning and analysis on the income statement and cash flow results/targets from a business delivery perspectiveCoordinate with all regions and functions to ensure timely submission of analysis and reporting information requiredProvide insightful and creative analysis and presentation material on the performance of Global Polyurethanes division for PU management team on regular basis including profitability, costing, operation, capex, cash flow and other KPI etcLeverage multiple reporting systems and databases (Excel, Power BI, IBM PA etc) to deliver timely, accurate and insightful reporting and analysisSupport Huntsman earnings call by providing key analysis and presentation materials on ad hoc and inter-quarter inquiriesAnalyze publicly available competitive performance and benchmark vs Huntsman PolyurethanesAd-hoc financial analysis, business and CAPEX projects and modeling support related to the PU division's strategyQualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States if located in the United StatesThe candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the Costa Rica if located in Costa Rica.Salary expectation should be indicated in local country currency Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or BusinessAt least 4 years of relevant working experience in a financial analysis role or accounting firm experienceSkills and knowledge Proficient in Microsoft Excel (i.e. Pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions), PowerPoint, IBM Planning & Analytics, SAP, Power BIPreferred QualificationsMBA / CMA / CPA Knowledge of other information systems is a plus (i.e., SQL, Python and etc.)Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately with large data volumes and extractions from databases and information systems and drive process improvements to ensure data integrity/accuracyAdvanced analytical skills and business acumen to translate multiple data streams to business insightsAbility to complete assignments independently by collaborating with internal stakeholders, soliciting inputs, and consolidating data, ideas, and thoughts to develop a final proposal or solutionStrong planning and organizational skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships within a global organizationAvailability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime for financial closing periodsStrong understanding of the chemical industry and Polyurethanes business is a plusHuntsman offers outstanding benefits which start from "Day One":Competitive healthcare, dental, vision and wellness programs.One additional week of paid time off - on top of vacation.
