As a Composite Assembler at Beta Technologies, you will be working as part of a team of engineers and technicians fabricating, modifying, assembling, installing, and repairing composite parts and tooling for the production of electric aircraft and equipment, along with managing necessary materials and supplies, and maintaining the composite shop facilities. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: Precision handling and assembly of composite and metallic structures, utilizing semi-automated drilling and fastening equipment. Execute quality control processes to ensure accuracy. Demonstrate effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Minimum Qualifications we are seeking: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Experience in Manufacturing or Building with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and quality control processes. Innovative and mechanically oriented mindset for process improvement and quality promotion. Possesses fine motor skills with the ability to be delicate while using power and hand tools on composite parts and molds. Demonstrated ability to adhere to safety regulations and procedures. Flexibility and comfort in working in quickly changing environments and a passion to perform under pressure. Ability to be self-directed and work effectively in a team environment. Above and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you: Experience in Composites or Metal fabrication. Familiarity with clean-as-you-go and organizational techniques. Proficiency in drilling, cutting, and sanding equipment. Automotive body skills, including sanding/polishing, gel coat, and paint preparation. Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
