Electronic Technician

As an Electronics Technician, you will lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems used in the manufacturing and assembly process. **In this Role, your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronics to diagnose cause of malfunction and repair same. + Inspect completed repair work to verify repair was completed successfully and is now functioning as it should. + Tests electronic components and circuits to locate defects. + Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. + Sets up standard test apparatus or devises test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability. + Analyzes and interprets test data. + Adjusts, calibrates, aligns, and modifies circuitry and components. + Checks functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions. + Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager. **For this Role, You Will Need:** + High School diploma or general education degree (GED) + Journeyperson's card from an accredited source. + Experience working with Mechanical, Welding, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems. + Experience working in a CMMS environment. + Must have basic computer skills and proficient using computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). + Must be organized and able to work with little supervision. + All other duties as assigned. + Legal Authorization to work in the United States – sponsorship will not be provided for this role **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** + 120VAC, 480VAC 3-phase electrical systems + PLC troubleshooting + CNC Machining Equipment troubleshooting and repair + General Safety + Lock Out/Tag Out + Confined space + Forklift **Why Work in the greater Cleveland area:** This role is based at our World HQ in Elyria (just a little west of Cleveland), OH USA.
