Job Description Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Mainframe & COBOL Developer. Position type: Permanent Duration: Fulltime Location: District of Columbia, US As a Mainframe & COBOL Developer, you will: Develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications using MVS COBOL, JCL, SQL, and DB2. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing mainframe applications. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices. Assist in the migration of COBOL applications to Java. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Proven experience in mainframe development using MVS COBOL, JCL, SQL, and DB2. Familiarity with Sapiens is preferred. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to details. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Experience in transitioning from COBOL to Java development is a plus.
