We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in mainframe rehosting and modernization strategies. This is an onsite position located in Washington, DC, with a duration of 6 months. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mainframe rehosting using emulation platforms and a deep understanding of related technologies and strategies.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 8 - 10 years of experience in mainframe rehosting using emulation platforms such as Rocket or Micro Focus.
  • Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure, preferably with the Azure cloud platform.
  • Strong understanding of workload sizing, feasibility analysis, and modernization strategies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps enablement, CI/CD pipeline setup, and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Excellent skills in code conversion, interface migration, and testing strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in proof of concept and assessment phases.
