Responsibilities May have responsibility for staff; Has authority to hire, fire and discipline; Oversees the process for collecting, reporting and maintaining information necessary to ensure appropriate insurance coverage; Coordinates all activities necessary for compliance with the Safe Medical Device Act; coordinates the investigation associated with an allegation of an EMTALA violation; Participates in audits of departments/processes for compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned.
