- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organizations products/services.
- Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.

- Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Education and/or Experience -Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school and five to seven years sales experience in an industrial environment or an equivalent combination of both.
- Reasoning Ability -Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral and diagram form.
- Mathematical Skills -Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
- Language Skills -Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Computer Skills -Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and able to navigate Epicor Profit 21 system.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Fluid Power experience preferred.
Other Qualifications: Must have a valid driver's license. Must be willing to travel 80% of the time and overnight stays may be required.
