About the Company:


Growing Retail Company seeking to expand and add pop up stores.

The company has been in business for 15 years, is privately held and their vision for growth includes brick and mortar, e-commerce, and wholesale channels of distribution. In addition to the boutiques, they currently produce private label products under two trademarked brands. They are looking for someone that is entrepreneurial in spirit and that will work closely with the owner to expand the business.


About the Role:


The District Manager is responsible for proactively driving sales in a 3.2M+ environment encompassing two unique brands, attracting and developing key talent, cultivating, and sustaining an energetic and positive culture, and contributing to the growth of the organization. This position will also lead store expansion, opening pop up locations.

Responsibilities:


  • Meets and exceeds sales goals through personal and team selling skills and the committed utilization of client management and retention tools.
  • Recruits, hires, and develops top talent efficiently and effectively, filling open positions through both internal team promotions and by maintaining a pool of potential external candidates.
  • Develops and leads associates engaged in sales and high-touch client service through a combination of modeled behavior, data utilization and ongoing coaching.
  • Promotes extraordinary client service by ensuring associates are properly and effectively executing our steps of selling program; are well versed in product knowledge and can develop and maintain ongoing client relationships.
  • Monitors associate sales productivity; acknowledges and communicates performance to associates; motivates and develops associates at all levels to achieve full potential and realize company goals.
  • Collaborates with product & merchant teams to maintain visually appealing stores, ensuring proper housekeeping, maintained visual merchandising standards, and effective new product placement that drive sales.
  • Communicates between product buying teams and operational teams to share key knowledge and maximize sales growth opportunities.
  • Participates in the execution of grass roots marketing efforts and events to spread regional awareness and drive new client capture.
  • Executes effective initial training with attention to detail, as well as ongoing coaching to ensure that policies and procedures are observed to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Ensures compliance with all loss prevention policies through ongoing coaching and education.
  • Ensures store schedules are prepared to meet the needs of the business while controlling costs.
  • Prepares and conducts all performance appraisals and evaluations.

Qualifications:

Strong retail management with experience opening new concepts.

Open to travel and open up pop up locations.

Strong client relations and training.
