You'll join our talented Food Services team to ensure healthy and appetizing evening meals are properly prepared and ready for distribution to dormitories.   • Organize, coordinate, and supervise daily dinner production
  • Plan, prepare, and perform a wide variety of cooking tasks to provide appetizing dinners for residential students and staff
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, cooking, and storage procedures are followed
  • Observe dietary restrictions of students
  • Break down evening production to ensure kitchen is ready for the next day's meals
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Food Service Manager
Qualifications
  • Two years of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen (preferably in an educational setting)
  • Serve Safe Certification required; Allergen Awareness Certification a plus
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate courteously, efficiently, and effectively with peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
  • Dependability, punctuality, and initiative are essential.
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in a Farm-to-Table food service environment is desirable
Shift Hours
  • Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 4:30pm

Pay Range: $21.50 - $22.00 per hour Apply for this Position
