Location: Various locations across Michigan

The Patient Coordinator is responsible for managing the patient experience within the healthcare practice, ensuring efficient scheduling, communication, and support throughout the patient journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, including scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups.
  • Assist patients with registration and insurance verification processes.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and communication.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • Experience in a patient-facing role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in practice management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
