Consultant (7 months, home-based, remotely) Policy-Writing (Anti-fraud, and Anti-money Laundering), Governance, PFP, Geneva A 7‑month home‑based consultancy based in Geneva, Switzerland, focused on developing anti‑fraud and anti‑money‑laundering policy guidance for UNICEF Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP). The role is part of the Governance Team that supports the national committees. Contract type: ConsultantDuty Station: GenevaLevel: ConsultancyLocation: SwitzerlandCategories: Partnerships, Fund Raising Purpose of assignment: To update and write guidance documents on nonprofit governance topics related to anti‑fraud and anti‑money‑laundering, conduct research and stakeholder consultations, and support the control environment. SCOPE OF WORK: Under the supervision of the Chief Governance and a NatCom & Governance Specialist, the consultant will review, research, and update existing governance guidance, develop and align anti‑fraud and AML policy frameworks, prepare reference lists, and provide technical advisory and training resources. DEFINING DELIVERABLES: Anti‑fraud framework and policy Anti‑money‑laundering policy and guidance Consultation with stakeholders Technical advisory and training resources Updated guidance documents and templates Reference list of sources Timeline & Payment: Deliverables are submitted in phases, with final invoices paid upon completion. All material remains UNICEF copyright. EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s or higher in Finance, Risk, Audit, Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Policy. Alternate: Bachelor’s degree plus two years of relevant experience. EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 5 years of policy guidance development (research and writing). Experience creating corporate or nonprofit governance policy and capacity‑building materials. Knowledge of nonprofit governance structures, internal controls, audit, and risk management, including anti‑fraud and anti‑money‑laundering frameworks. LANGUAGE: Fluency in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of another UN language is desirable. OTHER SKILLS: Proven policy writing experience. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and consultatively with stakeholders. Familiarity with UNICEF and National Committees is an asset.
