PDG is working with a client in Metro West Boston who needs an experienced Pharma Commercial Launch Training Manager to assist with a product launch in early July 2026. This is a 1099 contract opportunity where the work will begin on or around January 5, 2026, and is planned to continue through the end of 2026. We are exclusively looking for candidates who are based in the greater Boston area, as the role will require on‑site onboarding and meetings from time to time, including launch activities. It is expected that approximately 85% of this work can be done remotely. Candidates who have vacations planned during the summer of 2026 cannot be considered. The work will be up to 40 hours per week, and there are no plans for this role to convert to full‑time at this time. The hourly rate range for this role is $50‑$150/hr and will be paid commensurate with experience. Role Summary The Pharma Commercial Launch Training Manager will help design and deliver impactful training programs to elevate the knowledge and capabilities of customer-facing teams, including Field Sales, Account Managers, and Educator roles. This role will play a key part in preparing the company for a mid‑summer 2026 product launch. In collaboration with Field Leadership, the Brand Team, and various cross‑functional partners, the manager will lead the planning and execution of onboarding training initiatives that equip teams for launch readiness and sustained success. Responsibilities Responsible for coordinating & facilitating new hire training (virtual and live) Develop, implement, and facilitate training programs and workshops as required for National Sales and Plan of Action (POA) Meetings Identify learning gaps and create effective content that improves the desired outcome for our field teams in partnership with the Director, Commercial Effectiveness & Training Manage the processes associated with the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review for appropriate training assets Perform other duties as assigned Education and Professional Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience 5-8 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech company within a commercial organization Previous role within Commercial Enablement/Training team, experience supporting a Launch a plus At least 2 years of training experience, Corporate/In‑house trainer experience preferred Exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills Experience with instructional design and facilitating training workshops to small and large groups in live and virtual environments Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (e.g., mentoring, coaching, on‑the‑job or instructor‑led training, e‑learning, workshops, simulations, etc.) Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines amidst shifting priorities Experience building and maintaining relationships across an organization Experience with various learning administration systems and learning technologies General Knowledge and Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Customer‑centric Collaborative and flexible Highly organized with strong planning capabilities Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and recommending solutions Works with a sense of urgency and efficiency, while maintaining attention to detail Self‑starter, with ability to think creatively and solid problem‑solving skills Excels in producing clear and concise communications, both written and verbal Demonstrates critical, creative thinking and problem‑solving skillsComfortable with technology and learning/mastering software systems Demonstrated project coordination experience Ability to work and coordinate cross‑nationally Demonstrated proficiency across Microsoft Office and associated tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Employment Details Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Contract Job function: Training and Design Industries: Professional Training and Coaching, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, and Biotechnology Research Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Performance Development Group by 2x Get notified about new Training Manager jobs in Greater Boston. #J-18808-Ljbffr
