Benefits Bonus based on performance The Head and Strength Coach is responsible for delivering the BEST workout experience in the industry to our clients. The Coach is the front-line customer experience at D1 Coaches demonstrate a passion for training athletes of all ages from 7 years old all the way to the adult athlete. Coaches lead training in D1 membership workouts, D1on1, small group personal training, and team training. Coaches are Level 1 Certified the D1 Way and maintain a high level of coaching adhering to the latest brand standards and quality control measures. D1 Coaches assist in conducting assessments and goal setting during the FTA process ensuring athletes are prescribed, motivated, and committed to the proper program to reach their goals. Coach the core classes, personal training, camps, team training, and additional offerings. Conduct and lead all workouts the D1 Way at a high level. This requires an infectious energy with vocal verbal coaching, understanding, enforcing coaching cues, organization of the group sessions, and tempo and transition of all the groups. Oversee the training spaces maintenance and cleaning. Maintain equipment, cleaning, and organization of all training areas. Job Summary Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes. Maximize client retention through best-in‑class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability. Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand. Educate athletes on correct form and proper mechanics Lead a team of part time strength coaches Facilitate the flow of the class structure as well as all team training, out‑of‑facility training, schedule of coaches 1:1 Create schedule for all coaches Create timeline of out‑of‑facility events that coaches will be working/attending (speed and agility clinics) Continue to educate the team of D1 Coaches on best practices and performance techniques. Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over‑the‑top customer service Starting and finishing workouts on time Assessing and aligning each member with the proper program Building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member Coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams Delivering accurate, industry‑leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition Teaching proper form and technique and keeping all our athletes safe Responsibilities Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes. Maximize client retention through best-in‑class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability. Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand. Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns. Qualifications Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification Has at least one valid certification accredited by the NSCA. Must have CSCS Minimum of3 year of strength & conditioning‑related experience in group, team, or personal training setting. Has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred). Background in sports D1 Training is an emerging fitness franchise, that is growing rapidly. D1 Training has over 80 facilities open and 180+ in development.
