Senior Police Department Information Technology Analyst The City of Concord is seeking a Senior PD IT Analyst to support implementation, maintenance, and support of law‑e enforcement applications and systems. Responsibilities Lead technology implementations, evaluating and recommending solutions. Scope and price IT system and program implementations with vendors. Support and maintain cloud‑based CAD and RMS solution. Manage deployed mobile devices, smartphones, wireless routers, body and vehicle cameras, and building security technology. Configure, support, and maintain handheld and car radios and dispatch consoles. Assist IT staff with installing computers, network cables, and other hardware. Generate reports and queries from databases to satisfy mandated reporting requirements. Support various Police Department applications (RMS interfaces, data warehouse, query solutions, State LE programs, evidence, CLETS, PD scheduling, internal web apps, radio management, crime analysis, ALPR, tasers, body worn cameras, cloud cameras). Use programming skills to improve operational efficiencies and functionality. Partial telecommuting may be available after probation. Qualifications Knowledge and Abilities Working knowledge of structured analysis, design, programming, database design, system architecture, and programming languages such as VB.NET, C#, SQL, HTML, .NET, JavaScript, Oracle, UNIX. Ability to create relational table structures, automated interfaces, documentation, testing, debugging, correct requirements, maintain systems, provide training, perform cost analysis, provide customer service, and align with City values. Education/Experience Education: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent combination of associate’s degree plus relevant certifications and experience. Experience: Two years of systems analysis experience and two years of applications programming experience. California driver license and satisfactory driving record required.
