Pay rate: $16.10/hour
Schedule: 2nd shift - 3:10pm-1:10am Mon-Thurs
Term: 6 months with the opportunity for extension or conversion

What’s a typical day as a Manufacturing Associate? You’ll be:
• Safely performing job functions at the highest level of quality, in the processing of media, mesh and elements
• Providing accurate paperwork and record keeping
• Using measuring and test equipment as required
• Following all company rules and policies as well as OSHA/EPA regulations
• Operating and maintaining equipment in the production of media-made elements
• Producing complicated components needed, subassemblies and final assemblies in related area to blueprint and work instructions
• Working under the direction of supervisors or more experienced personnel, with little supervision
• Setting up and operating all equipment in related area to produce product to specification requirements
• Following all safety procedures and wearing required P.P.E. at all times
• Maintaining high quality and production standards and keeping records accurately
• Assisting lower classification personnel and being willing to cross-train as needed
• Setting up and operating necessary equipment in related area
• Completing all necessary paperwork required
• Producing and measuring product to ensure compliance to blueprint and work instruction specifications
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and safe work area
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of experience in manufacturing and assembly
• Are computer literate
• Have basic math skills
• Have the ability to understand, follow, and effectively communicate verbal and written instructions
• Have the ability to read and understand complex instructions and work from schedules
• Have good mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability
• Can maintain accurate records, logs, and collect necessary data
• Can maintain an acceptable level of attendance
• Have the ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Have the ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for long periods of time
• Can steadily use the hands for the operation and manufacturing of equipment
• Can climb a ladder and flex the upper and lower body
• Can read and write simple statements
• Have the ability to make decisions and have sound judgment
