Thalle is currently seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to fill a CADD Technician position on a 6 Year, $375M (+) USACE Lock and Dam project located on scenic Kentucky Lake in Grand Rivers, Kentucky. This is a full-time on-site position reporting directly to the Senior Project Engineer to perform quality control inspection and product review tasks to support the site operations team. Overview:
The CADD Technician will be proficient in CAD software and possess a thorough understanding of construction processes. As a CADD Tech - Construction, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project team by creating detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints, contributing to the successful execution of the Kentucky Lock project.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to produce accurate and detailed construction drawings using CAD/Revit or similar software.
•Translate conceptual sketches, specifications, and design requirements into comprehensive technical drawings for the Kentucky Lock project.
•Generate layout plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings specifically tailored for the project.
•Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulations relevant to the project.
•Revise and update drawings as needed to reflect design changes and project modifications for the project.
•Maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings and revisions related to the project.
•Communicate effectively with the Kentucky Lock project team members to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
•Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
•Proven experience as a CADD Tech or similar role in the construction industry.
•Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs.
•Experience working with 3D environment is preferred.
•Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and materials.
•Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
•Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
•Effective communication and collaboration skills.
•Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
•Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
•Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
•Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
•Must be able to move freely about a construction site that at times present a demanding terrain including, but not limited to climbing of ladders and stair towers, uneven and often wet surfaces, and slopes.
•Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
