About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Medical Laboratory Technician or Scientist to join our team at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham, IL. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing routine tests, analyzing samples, and providing critical data to healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine tests and analyze samples using biomedical instrumentation, microscopes, and computers
  • Provide accurate and timely data to healthcare providers for diagnosis and treatment of disease
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations
  • Develop and maintain a positive rapport with patients and healthcare providers
Requirements:
  • Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician certification
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field (e.g. biological science, chemistry, mathematics)
  • Successful completion of a National Accreditation Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) accredited program
  • Experience in an accredited laboratory (preferred)
