In this pivotal role, Your mission will be to originate, negotiate, and close complex new business deals, selling our unique, blended offering of the world’s large genotype-phenotype dataset, cutting-edge analytical tools and consulting expertise from an outstanding group of 50 scientific experts.This is an opportunity to own the commercial expansion of an emerging leader in a high-growth segment of life sciences: If this excites you, you have a natural interest / curiosity in the application of cutting-edge computational / data science methods to improve drug discovery and development success rates, AND are ready to engage with global industry leaders shaping the future of medicine, we want to hear from youA Day in the Life:Prospect, evaluate, and negotiate new business opportunities across the pharma and biotech landscape.Clearly communicate the value of Genomics’ products and services, tailoring solutions to the needs of each client.Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring exceptional client experience throughout the sales cycle.Develop and execute strategic plans to meet or exceed your revenue targets.Stay across industry developments, competitor activity, and client pipelines—bringing insights back to internal teams.Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline updates in the CRM, tracking performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.Work closely with marketing, science, and operations to support successful engagements and overall commercial strategy.Key Focus Areas:SaaS and consulting offerings sales experience, ideally within the biopharma and/or biotech sectors.Proven ability to achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets.Strong understanding of the industry, including pipelines, stakeholders, and market dynamics.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.Comfort working both autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-growing, high-energy environment.Experience using CRM tools effectively to drive collaboration, deal progression and accurate forecasting / reporting.Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or equivalent (equivalent practical experience considered).Previous experience working in a high-growth or scaling commercial team would be an advantage.The TeamYou’ll be joining a close-knit, global sales team, three colleagues based in the UK and one in the US, with plans for furthe expansion in H2 2026.
