Spherion is currently seeking a skilled Electronics Solderer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process, ensuring the reliability and precision of electronic components used in aerospace applications. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience with soldering and/or brazing in a similar industry.

Responsibilities:
-Perform soldering and brazing operations on electronic components according to industry standards and specifications.
-Inspect solder joints for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments as required.
-Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and work instructions.
-Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
-Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:
-Current or expired J-STD-001 soldering certification.
-Experience with IPC-A-610 standard for acceptability of electronic assemblies

No Degree Required

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
-1-2 years of experience in soldering and/or brazing, preferably in the aerospace or related industry.
-Proficiency in using soldering irons, solder wire, flux, and other related equipment.
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
-Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
-Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, unassisted.
-Ability to stand for a full 8 hour shift.
