The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for launching precision aerospace components into production. This role will be responsible for understanding complex product engineering requirements and the processing required to meet those requirements.Additionally, the Senior Manufacturing Engineer will:The creation and execution of detailed processing and inspection plansDevelopment of established and advanced manufacturing process technologiesWriting CNC programs for turning, milling, and grinding processesSpecification and acquisition of process machinery, tooling, gages, and packagingWorking with production and quality team members for a safe and on-time launchProblem solving of manufacturing processes including CNC programs and quality issuesQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience with machining processes. Alternatively, candidates with a relevant associates degree and at least 4 years of practical experience may be consideredThorough understanding of detailed engineering drawings and specificationsCompetent in the interpretation of GD&T requirements and inspection methodologiesCNC programming experience is requiredAn interest in gas turbine engine manufacturingU.S. citizenship is requiredPosition requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed.
