City Experiences is seeking a Intern Compliance Clerk for our Puerto Rico Ferry operation in Puerto Rico.

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

The Intern - Compliance Clerk reports to the Director of Compliance and is responsible for performing clerical and administrative duties including filing, completion and drafting of forms and reports, compiling and organizing physical and digital voluminous documentation, researching public databases, analyzing English written contracts, and day-to-day general office tasks. The activities of the Compliance Clerk require accuracy, high attention to details and organization to meet tight weekly and monthly deadlines. This position will interact daily with all departments in gathering reports and clarifying discrepancies which requires excellent Spanish and English oral and writing communication skills. The Compliance Clerk will have a sense of urgency and skills to take the lead on initiatives for the oversight of deadlines, alerts, follow-ups and communications with external third parties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide data entry and general administrative office support to the Director of Compliance.

• Assists in the development of reports as it pertains to contract, legal and operational requirements.

• Assist in maintaining assigned physical and digital files and records; receive and process information according to established guidelines and procedures., including creating, organizing and maintaining the entire corporate database or recordkeeping system with high sense of confidentiality.

• Know and understand internal policies and external regulatory requirements that relate to your position and department.

• Draft reports, emails and letters with superior English drafting skills.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

8. Collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating varied information and data.

9. Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs.

16. Bilingual, English speaking, reading, and writing.
