No matter where you are at in your journey, becoming a short-term substitute allows you the flexibility in choosing the assignments that work best for your situation while also contributing to the community and shaping our future.What Your Day Will Look Like:The majority of your day will consist of keeping buildings clean and in an orderly condition. Some tasks may require washing floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls/glass, and removing rubbish. Other duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from the sidewalks during the winter season. Among building maintenance procedures you will also perform other building security and safety tasks such as locking building doors after hours and checking HVAC/ electrical appliances to ensure no hazards are created. **The position will involve standing and walking for up to 8 hours; bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
