Compensation: $70 – 82k/year

What you’ll be doing:

Procure products and services for all departments, ensuring they meet departmental needs.
Assist in preparing and recommending bids, RFQs, and RFPs, maintaining expertise in Alabama State Bid Law.
Verify agreements and purchase orders for accuracy, recommending bid awards where applicable.
Stay informed about price changes and new/improved products/services by interviewing sales reps.
Assist with receiving, distributing supplies, and maintaining efficient inventory management processes.

What you’ll need to be considered:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
4+ years of purchasing experience
Strong understanding of Alabama State Bid Law
Technical efficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
Ability to become a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB)
