*Shift: 3:30 pm- 7:30 pm, Monday through - Friday plus every other weekend*

*Responsibilities:* * Assist with meal preparation and food production in a healthcare setting, such as a nursing home or assisted living facility. * Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety and quality of meals. * Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff, addressing any dietary concerns or special requests. * Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure meals are prepared according to dietary guidelines and individual preferences. * Help with serving meals and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. * Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies. * Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils.

*Skills:* * Experience in food service or a culinary background is preferred but not required. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors. * Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. * Ability to work well as part of a team, collaborating with other dietary staff members.
