Director Software Engineering, MS Dynamics Job Title: Director of Software Engineering – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Location: Irving, TX area Onsite Requirement: 3 days/week (Tuesday–Thursday) – nonnegotiable Salary Range: $170,000–$180,000 annually Bonus: 20% Visa Sponsorship / C2C / H1B: Not available Background/Reference Checks: Required Role Overview This position leads Microsoft Dynamics 365 initiatives focused on either the Operations & Service module or the Marketing module. The Director will be responsible for technical strategy, platform management, and team development in a collaborative, enterprise‑scale environment. Candidates must have hands‑on Dynamics experience and a strong technical background, including solution architecture and vendor management. Leadership & Team Development Manage and mentor a team of 4–7 developers, analysts, and QA engineers Build development plans and set performance goals Foster a collaborative and high‑performing team culture Technical Strategy & Architecture Lead architectural decisions and ensure platform consistency Collaborate with enterprise architecture and product owners Evaluate and implement new tools, vendors, and technologies Product Delivery & Execution Guide technical solutioning and feasibility assessments Oversee development quality and operational readiness Act as escalation point for technical delivery issues Operational Oversight Contribute to project estimation, scheduling, and budgeting Justify investments in tooling, technical debt remediation, and staff development Promote data‑driven tracking of delivery efficiency and platform health Culture & Engagement Champion innovation and optimization (e.g., generative AI for development) Encourage ownership and autonomy across the team Maintain visibility and act as a coach and guide Required Qualifications 7+ years in enterprise application development 3+ years in leadership roles 3+ years hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Experience with either: Operations & Service module Marketing module (Sales/Pricing module experience may be considered) Technical expertise in: JavaScript, C#, .NET Plugins Power Automate, Power Apps (Canvas & Model‑Driven) Custom APIs and Connectors Dataverse and Dynamics data structures Azure DevOps (backlog, pipeline, delivery tracking) SQL Server (querying, data analysis, integration support) CI/CD pipelines and release workflows for Dynamics 365 Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solutions Architect (or similar) Prior experience with Dynamics Service, Operations, and Marketing modules #TECH #Hybrid #J-18808-Ljbffr
