Our bouquet of Modernization Engineering Services cuts across Cloud, Data, Dynamics, Contact Centers, and around newer technologies like Generative AI, MS Fabric, and other modernization platforms.Job Title :Sr. Java Developer .Location : Berkeley- NJRole Description·Develop and maintain backend services for a modern financial product using Java, Microservices/APIs, and Kafka on Azure.·Work with senior engineers to build scalable, secure, high-performance services and learn cloud-native and DevOps best practices.·Participate in code reviews; follow coding standards; support refactoring and improvements.·Collaborate with QA and DevOps to integrate services into CI/CD; troubleshoot defects and performance issues under guidance; participate in Agile ceremonies.Skills: ·Java Programming: OOP & SOLID; Java 8+ (Lambdas, Streams); build REST APIs; DI & configuration; Spring Boot for microservices ·Microservices Architecture: Hands-on building microservices; patterns like Circuit Breaker or Saga ·Event Streaming: Hands-on with Kafka/Azure Event Hubs and messaging services ·DevOps & Deployment: Understand CI/CD and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Why join Sonata Software?
