KUWAIT ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: Comtech Systems, Inc (CSI) is looking for Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level III candidates who will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of a DoD IA architecture, system, or system component for use within CE, NE, and enclave environments. They ensure that the architecture and design of DoD IS are functional and secure. This may include designs for program of record systems and special purpose environments with platform IT interconnectivity. Incumbents may also be responsible for system or network designs that encompass multiple CE and/or NE to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements. Candidates will be expected to work with a spirit of cooperation and must exhibit a tenacious work ethic while possessing the drive and critical thinking to excel in potentially tumultuous conditions. PRIMARY DUTIES: All candidates will perform the following duties: Obtain and maintain IA certification appropriate to position in accordance to DoD 8570.01-M. Certified as a IASAE Level III Network environment (NE) Advanced Computing Environment (CE) level support within 6 months of starting position. Understanding of the DOD Risk Management Framework Process (RMF), Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process. Knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and structure to develop, implement, and maintain a secure CE. Knowledge of how to use the following scanning and security assessment tools: RETINA, Security Readiness Review (SRR) scripts for scanning and reporting, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance, and DISA Gold-Disk, DISA STIG compliance and must be efficient with Yellow Jacket, Q-Tip, Harris Stat, Microsoft Patch Deployment and Log Collector. SKILLS REQUIRED: All candidates will have the following minimum skills: IASAE at least ten (10) years of experience as an IASAE. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with diverse audiences, internally and externally to foster strong teamwork. Work well independently or as a member of a team environment. Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience in maintaining certifications related to the requirement of the position.
