This job description serves as a guide for establishing the criteria to fill a specific job, and to assist in staff member evaluation related to that job. The description is subject to change at management's discretion and may include additional or different duties as assigned or directed.

I. Job Summary

Deliver unparalleled luxury dining experiences as a In Suite Dining Attendant at Carillon Miami Wellness Resort. From order placement to presentation, uphold impeccable service standards. Utilize expertise in upscale dining and upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction.

II. Essential Job Functions

A. Enters order on POS, prepares, delivers and services orders.

B. Maintain knowledgeable on all food, beverage and hotel products and services.

C. Maintains an accurate and timely record of each order.

D. Responds promptly and courteously to any requests when delivering the order.

E. Performs upselling techniques upon the order taking process.

F. Performs service recoveries as required to ensure complete guest satisfaction and updates manger on follow ups.

G. Professionally presents the final bill and secures final payment.

H. Performs tray and cart runs on time and as business levels demand.

I. Responsible for set-up, delivery and presentation of any food and beverage amenities, and for any orders being delivered to guest and/or meeting rooms.

J. Sets up function spaces with appropriate tools such as clipboards, note pads, pens, and water.

K. Warmly and graciously greets all guests upon arrival to guest rooms, practicing guest recognition by using their names.

L. Consults with management on any food pick-up difficulties.

M. Completes all side work duties as assigned.

N. Maintains clean service areas and elevator.

O. Minimizes breakage by carefully bussing trays down from rooms.

P. Adheres to responsible alcohol service guidelines.

Q. Ready and willing to assist coordinators/operators when needed to answer phones and take food and beverage orders from guests.

R. Supports set up of specialty events and meetings, by checking that chairs are neatly set for lectures and all special requests have been satisfied.

S. Understands and studies Carillon nutrition philosophy, food and beverage offerings and ingredients, as well as Carillon overall operation, philosophy, activities, and services in order to answer any guest questions and enhance the guest experience.

T. Adheres to Carillon & luxury partnership standards for guest service.

U. Refers guest problems or complaints to manager according to Carillon problem resolution policy.

V. Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.

W. Performs other job-related duties as directed.

III. Education, Experience and Skill Requirement

A. Previous Room Service experience a plus.

B. Must have knowledge of upscale dining room and service procedures and functions.

C. Excellent telephone etiquette and diction.

D. Capable for serving and pouring champagne and wine.

E. Must be able to gracefully carry trays balanced on one arm.

F. Able to handle and be responsible for cash transactions.

G. Food handlers certified.

H. Must be able to read, write and speak English.

I. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

J. Must possess a personable, cheerful demeanor and be able to remain calm under pressure.

K. Must possess pride in luxury standards of food service and be guest-service oriented.
