Job Description - Fortuna Aggregates is looking for a hard-working individual to join one of our Mobile Concrete Crushing Crews as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

About Fortuna Aggregates -Fortuna Aggregates is a family-owned aggregate supplier and mobile custom crushing and screening company with three locations: Downtown Cleveland, Akron, and Grafton. Founded in 2006, our consistent investment in employees and equipment has driven us to be a leader in the concrete crushing industry across Northeast Ohio.

This position is 40+ hours a week which includes overtime pay. The position is NOT seasonal. We provide job security - no winter layoffs.

Must have experience operating heavy equipment - namely a CAT 980K and 982 front-end wheel loader.

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience operating large wheel loaders and managing stone sales, with the ability to perform laboring duties if needed and necessary. Candidate must have the ability to:
  • Fill out and complete sale tickets.
  • Load incoming trucks with aggregate materials
  • Must be able to operate large front-end wheel loader. (CAT 980K and 982M)
  • Legible Handwriting
  • Be reliable, accountable, and show up to work promptly each day.
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager on incoming/outgoing orders.
  • Maintain Mechanics on Machinery (Grease, Fuel, etc.)
  • Approve incoming raw material.
  • Ability to load a screener.
  • Must be able to communicate and work with company Foremen.
  • Experience operating forklift/skidsteer is a plus.
  • Must be computer literate / POS system experience is a plus.
  • Mechanical background is a plus.
  • Welding experience is a plus.
  • Candidate must possess a driver's license and reliable vehicle and/or reliable transportation.
  • Ability to take direction and work with a team.
  • Ability to travel to job sites up to an hour and a half outside of our main location in Downtown Cleveland
