We’re now seeking a Scan‑to‑BIM Director to lead our laser scanning and modeling initiatives, manage cross‑functional teams, and elevate our capabilities in digital construction and design documentation. Position Overview As the Scan‑to‑BIM Director, you will lead our 3D laser scanning and Building Information Modeling (BIM) services, ensuring delivery excellence from field capture to final model. You will play a key strategic and technical role, helping us scale operations, innovate workflows, and strengthen client relationships across architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industries. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Scan‑to‑BIM team, including project managers, modelers, and field technicians Oversee 3D laser scanning operations, ensuring accurate data acquisition and safe field practices Develop and implement Scan‑to‑BIM standards, workflows, and quality assurance processes Serve as the primary technical liaison with clients, ensuring clarity, timeliness, and satisfaction Review and approve BIM models for accuracy, LOD specifications, and alignment with project goals Collaborate with leadership on resource planning, budgeting, and strategic growth Stay current on industry trends and technology advancements in scanning and modeling Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Scan‑to‑BIM, 3D laser scanning, and/or BIM/VDC leadership Strong proficiency with Revit, Autodesk Recap, Navisworks, and point cloud registration tools (e.g., Leica Cyclone, Faro Scene, or similar) Experience managing teams, complex projects, and multi‑disciplinary workflows Deep understanding of LOD (Level of Development) standards and AEC project delivery Excellent communication and client management skills Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) What We Offer Employer‑Paid Medical and Dental Insurance 401(k) Plan with Company Match Professional Development Reimbursement Company‑Paid Disability Insurance Opportunities for leadership, innovation, and career growth in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment Why Join Us?
