Worlds of Fun is seeking an Assistant Manager to assist in the operation of our In-Park Food and Beverage Division, specificallymaintaining effective management of their area of responsibility within Food Services. This individual will ensure quality and cost control of food, beverage, and service at all times while achieving all budgetary goals. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve all financial and budget goals.
  • Serves as the on-duty manager for Food & Beverage on a rotating basis, with a focus on in-park operations, appropriate staffing levels, and responding to guest inquiries that may arise.
  • Ensure the highest level of guest service is present in all units.
  • Ensure all cost controls for food and labor are being achieved to enable a positive budget result.
  • Ensures all state and local health regulations meet standards regularly.
  • Initiates corrective and improvement actions as needed or upon the direction of the Director. Responsible for accurate reports within their area of responsibility.
  • Motivates employees to continually seek improvement in their individual performances.
  • Ensures the practice of corporate and divisional procedures and policies are always in effect.
  • Maintains effective communication with all employees and staff members.
  • Informs the Director of all developments arising within the area on a daily basis.
  • Adheres to and enforces allWorlds of Funand specific Park policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEOpolicies, and demonstrates commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment

Qualifications:

  • Qualifications:

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    Education: High School Diploma or GED

    License or Certification: Valid drivers license. Valid Food Handlers card or ability to obtain one post hire.

    Experience: At least2-4 years related experience in multi-unit, high volume food and beverage operations

    Equivalency: Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the above requirements.
