Senior Manager, Clinical Information Systems Join to apply for the Senior Manager, Clinical Information Systems role at The Christ Hospital Health Network. Job Overview Senior Manager overseeing Medical Device Information and Integration Systems (MDIIS), Clinical Video Imaging Systems (CVIS), and Imaging Systems across all service lines and business units. Includes management of the MDIIS team, close cooperation with HTM’s other pillars—Biomedical, BES, and Business Operations. Performs duties as outlined in the job duties and reports to the Director of HTM. Responsibilities Manage all MDIIS systems, including selection and implementation initiatives for service lines and departments. Work closely with vendors to ensure system capabilities match TCHHN requirements. Provide workflow analysis and redesign with physicians and clinicians. Maintain project budgets, plans, and provide timely updates to service line and executive management. Lead strategic and tactical planning for MDIIS, CVIS, and Imaging; coordinate with Biomedical Manager and Business Operations. Manage cybersecurity efforts on medical devices/systems and handle alerts/recalls. Act as Assistant Director to HTM Director, managing Biomedical, Imaging, and Business Operations teams when needed. Ensure compliance with state, JCAHO, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements. Maintain financial (operations and capital) budgets for MDIIS systems, reviewing contracts and ensuring resources for support. Provide technical support, training, and in‑service education for end users. Oversee recall/alert processes and coordinate with Risk Management for incident investigations. Assume backup role for HTM Director when unavailable. Qualifications Education Minimum bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Imaging, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; a master’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Business Management preferred. 10 years of experience may qualify for a bachelor’s degree; consider business degrees with relevant experience. Experience Minimum 10 years in a related management role with demonstrated increasing responsibility. Required Skills and Knowledge Engineering and/or biomedical experience; strong functional management knowledge; general hospital instrumentation knowledge. Experience in imaging, IT, and business management. Proficiency in circuit analysis, analog/digital electronics, microcomputers, and biomedical equipment operation. Application of physics, chemistry, and biology in biomedical equipment management. Use of CMMS for documentation. Extensive knowledge of TJC, OSHA, HIPAA, SMDA, NFPA 99, Life Safety Code 101. Incident investigation, quality assurance, and clinical engineering operations expertise. Strategic planning, risk analysis, long‑term budgeting, and training/mentoring abilities. Licenses & Certifications Certified Clinical Engineer (C.C.E.) or Certified Healthcare Technology Manager (C.H.T.M.) preferred; experience may be considered in lieu.
